A new era of sound quality
Custom Levels
Our technology is enhanced by the presence of expert luthiers, sound engineers and leather artisans who closely cooperate with the technical staff of high technology department.
Upgrade on the amplifiers, which are purchased on behalf of our clients through the traditional sales channels, is performed in Italy by hand.
STEP 1) Aerospace technology materials are used in order to restrain and coerce the endogenous magnetic fields that are generated by some of the head components. This technology is not esoteric, infact, through employing widely used high magnentic permeability alloys, such as permalloy or silver alloys, we’re able to capture the magnetic waves at different frequencies according on the thickness and structure of the alloy.
STEP 2) Electronic components used in amplifiers tend to generate high levels of electrical disturbance that encumbers the signal path causing interference. The human ear only perceives one specific vibration frequency so, due to the impossibility of totally eliminating interference, it's sufficient to deviate this frequency range. The deviation is the most complex aspect of the elaboration process as there is no reference in articles on modelization techniques, hence we will not reveal the method used to reach this goal, however, thickness, ageing and up to a smaller extent, pureness of the materials used for cabling are directly attributable to this phenomenon. We use silver and copper with our own density specifications that is extremely pure and ageing that can reach 25 years for the top-level creations, further, we completely substitute the cables with materials like silver and litz copper.
STEP 3) Vibrations are basically elements destroying the signal; removing the head from the top of the cabinet to avoid the sound degradation is not sufficient (for sure there’s no harm in it), but it's necessary to move the inter-circuital vibrations to the extremity of the band, where the wave shape is generated. To obtain that, at Xdivari we recourse to different adaptations, like employment of elastic elements and wood, which beyond its innate beauty, produces deep harmonic transformations.
One must not be misled into believing that a circuit is something artificial, often wrongly considered detached from the material with which it interacts, the truth is that experimental verification incontestably demonstrates the contrary.
STEP 4)
The whole amplifier is disassembled and each component is reviewed in its location to reduce distances and interruption points in the circuit. Where possible only one cable is used.
Cabling is rigorously redone by hand using conductive materials that vary according to a scheme imposing the use of both the litz silver and the copper, in dual configuration (litz and solid core).
The structural elements causing signal deterioration are carefully redone and elastically anchored.
During this phase materials able to convert the residual electromagnetic waves into thermal energy are used.
STEP 4.1 (CASE AND CABINET STRUCTURE)
The several hundred year-old wood employed (may date back to 1500, complete with certification of origin) is treated C37 Ennemoser lacquering and hand carved under supervisions and expertize of the most famous Italian luthiers.
STEP 5) The transformers are disassembled and rebuilt with superpermalloy material whilst the winding occurs partially by hand with the purest, seasoned, lacquered copper.
They are then positioned inside another shielded case and are drowned in resin, to avoid both vibrations and electromagnetic interferences.
The signal transmission congruency or the electron flow inside the conductor and by above the nonconducting material is restored by a hand applied substance with properties similar to lacquer. Every single cable, net cables too, are treated in this way.
The mains, full of noise pollution, can be made worse by any frequency signals, for this reason, further to the pre-stage electricity supply, we use a complex and sophisticated circuit designated to the restoration of two semi-waves: the ideal starting point in the creation of a unique sound.
SERIES: X PRE-STAGE SUPPLY
The amplifiers of HI TECHNOLOGY section, X series, benefit from a wave shaping innovative circuit that derives from the technology mentioned above in the steps 1 and 2.
The circuits case is manufactured from treated aluminium with internal foils in lead, copper and silver based alloys, in order to capture and neutralize, through transfer outside the audio band, the feedback from electromagnetic waves which are also generated by amplification.
The heads’ connection cable is copper hence exempt to electromagnetic waves emission.
AMPLIFIERS: XTREME PRE-STAGE SUPPLY
The amplifiers of HI TECHNOLOGY section, XTREME, benefit from an unprecedented wave shaping circuit, developed by technology mentioned above in the first 4 steps.
The case for these imposing circuits is made from mirror polished ergal, with computer aided manufacturing, whilst the inner is made from lead foils, copper and silver/mumetal based alloys in order to capture the feedback of electromagnetic waves - also generated by the amplification itself - and their consequent neutralization through transfer outside the audio band.
The elastic suspension supports boast average efficiency of 90% at frequencies up to 10Hz.
The heads’ connection cable is copper and silver; for higher efficiency and total electromagnetic wave exemption.
